A few examples of the interactive JCDecaux branding guidelines I created after deciding on a visual identity. Initially I created a set of branded primary colours, mostly picked from the JCDecaux website, to which I added a secondary palette of complimentary colours.
The style is characterised by angular lines with soft gradients, it is modern yet elegant to represent JCDecaux’s legacy whilst expressing its innovative style and forward thinking approach. The brand allows a choice of illustrative templates and an equivalent in a photographical style. The characters within illustrations are stylised by elongated bodies and minimal detail to create a clean and unified theme.
I created a library of assets which include templates, graphics, illustrations, covers, showreels and guides, and the visual identity was created to be compatible with different platforms and formats.
